Fanless I2U1000  is a industrial, rugged Server for demanding applications, like Virtualisation, MachineVision, Edge-Server, In-Vehicle computing or applications in the field of measurement technology.

Construction
The I2U1000 is a very compact short-rack system, featuring a high-end heatpipe cooling system. Three highly effective heatpipes (each is capable of carrying up to 40W) conducts the heat to massive aluminium extrusion profiles on the side of the system.
Combined with a very generous dimensioned 192W PSU a Core i7 or Xeon octa-core CPU can easily operated under permanent full-load.

In both reference examples the I2U1000 as well as I3U1000 are beeing used. Thank to it's modular approach and it's scalability different applications can be adressed with the entire IxU1000 series.


Fail safe operation:

For mission critical applications we offer the following solutions by default:

 
Standard Single-Source 12V DC Input
Wide-Input Single-Source, 12..25V DC Input
Integrierte USV A internal UPS supplies the system for around  30 min. in case of AC loss.  After that it performs a clean shut-down to protect the file system.
Redundancy The system can be sourced by two (different) DC supplies in a redundant array.. E.g. two external PSU's, or one external PSU + one external UPS. Does one of the sources fail, the system continious to run uninterrupted. 





The scheme shows exemplary a set-up with two external PSU's and additional a internal UPS - for maximum fail-proof.

Integrated UPS:
Your system is equpped with an integrated Uninterterruptible Power Supply. the UPS features LiFePo4 Akkus able to supply ~ 12Wh. Under Windows 10 OS it's recognized as notebook akku and needs no futher software or drivers. Though there is no configuraton needed, custom parameters can be made under power management settings.
Redundancy
Your system is equipped with a second DC-In and second PSU.
An additional circuit switches the entire load current to the remaining PSU if the other one fails,
without any interruption in supply.
